Yes. I went to Faerie Worlds Festival yesterday. And Faun played there. The end.

Well, there was way more epicness and disaster as well... But you see, Faun is up there in one of my tippy tippy top fav. bands ever, and they're from -Germany- (of course) and that they would fly ALL the way from said Germany to no other place, other than Eugene, Oregon, for the sole purpose of Performing at "Fairy Festival" ...I mean Think About It! What are those odds? They picked-or rather, were invited-Oregon out of all US states...Jeez. I guess that Oregon just has super fabulous people who have really amazing persuasive skills and just know WHO are queens out there. So FAUN, and all that made this magic/BestThingEver, Danke!!!!!
So BADNAM~! I got to stand in the very front and center, as in, thereisme-thereisthestage, sorta layout. Well, sometimes it was like, there is methealterthestage. BTW, I do believe this is their US premier too. So this has all been wai amazing. And then after the concert then I bought their album Licht, and got it signed by all the members of FAUN. I even had a demi-sortof conversation with their guy on synth/sfx! Man, what else to say? Their costumes were way groovy? And Oliver S. Tyr's (haha, get it?) coat was epic. Like this trench thing, with this amazing fabric then this fur shoulder deal going on...it was epic. (I wanna coat like that!!) Oh, and my mom took pictures, during the concert, but it was dark out, and the lighting was dark, and she was somewhere behind me (as in, waaaay back), so...I wouldn't really know, me bein' all fangirling in the front. They...just...wow. Praps I should stop trying to describe stuffs. The sound was amazing. uh...ya. I...no...speak...this...yes.

So. Other wonderful-ness at the fair. fest. con. thing (and after):
Brought a certain Someone who may be reading this who couldn't see FAUN (I <3 ya, but you missed out. Or I'm obsessed...nah, prolly both )
Saw some wai trippy vendors with wai trippy clothing
Saw Delhi to Dublin, a way trick celtic...rock? band. really hyper
Saw Amy Brown
Saw some trippy faery houses
Saw some wai groovily dressed ladies and mentally deconstructed their outfits
Went swimming in the river by the fest (and played with the snails and algae <3)
Epically walked around with a gallon of water
Discovered the goddess of Grommeting/eyeleting
Strutted into Costco still wearing Fairy getup and ordered a frozen yogurt swirl. (There was, evidently, a band playing hawaiian songs, but I heard that at least half of the seated food court area stared. Sorry to whoever was performing!)
Oh, and I lost my cell phone.
